What a wonderful day! Smile, beam, feel good about this country and the prospect of being able to finally rebuild and renew after the nightmare of the past 8 years. We in New Orleans take a special joy in this day (and if you don’t know why, think 7 letters: KATRINA)
America and the world, take a deep breath and send up a prayer for this guy and for all of us. What a mess he’s been handed by those (fill in your favorite words: jokers/idiots/cynics/ destroyers of the environment/mutilator of our democratic ideals) leaving the White House today. And not a moment too soon!
We at the Creole Gardens declare this our unofficial Day of Unbridled Giddiness and the start of what we hope is a true modern “Era of Good Feelings.”
