Helena Sung at The Pet News Examiner featured Mickey Rourke’s acceptance speech for the Best Actor award at the Golden Globe Awards last night. Rourke thanked his dogs, past and present in his speech. Rourke was awarded Best Actor for the movie The Wrestler.
“I bet nobody’s ever thanked their dog before at the Golden Globes, and I admire that Mickey Rourke did. He expressed the immense love and gratitude we feel towards our dogs who give us unconditional love, companionship and loyalty. (Not to mention regular laughs.) ” Sung said.
