Exactly one week after our magical snow day, the high temperature was 79 degrees! The staff has been cooling themselves in front of the air conditioner over the last few days, only to wake up to chilly weather today with a high of 52 degrees.
When guests call to book rooms, many of them ask what the weather will be like when they get here. They want to know what sort of clothes to pack for vacation. Hell if we know! The weather in South Louisiana is just as unpredictable as the politicians or the parties. It’s a pain to keep summer clothes and winter clothes handy in the closet, but we wouldn’t have it any other way down here… except with maybe a little less humidity.
